Lofthouse received an email from a Utah soldier checking our lofthousecookies.com website wondering where to buy our cookies in the
middle east. To help him out, we sent our Pink Frosted Sugar Cookies to
his Army National Guard aviation unit deployed to Southwest Asia flying
missions in Kuwait and southern Iraq. Most of the 334 are from Utah, but
have some from New Jersey, and a few from Maryland, Michigan, Alabama,
and Washington.
"We do fine here, but some of the nice things that remind us what we are
fighting to preserve make an enormous difference. You have no idea what
this means to homesick troops ranging ages from 18 to 59. will probably
never know how much a simple act of consideration lifts our spirits
here". |
